Accountabilities in this role include:

? Apply analysis of business systems and automatic data processing
solutions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of work processes
for both current and future business needs.

? Work with business management and information technology staff to define
business and work process requirements, understand application data
requirements, configure applications, test system functionality, document
system functionality, train users, apply the use of related tools, and
participate in related project work.

? Participate in the daily support, maintenance, and enhancement of
existing systems, as well as the development, configuration and delivery of
new systems to directly support Core Strategies and Key Initiatives.

? Facilitate development understanding and documentation of business
requirements in specific business area.

Your professional experience and education will include:

? The Business Systems Analyst would have a college degree in Computer
Sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration or related fields. A college
degree may be substituted by sufficient years of experience in the health
care industry.

? Experience and knowledge of Facets is always a

? Experience & knowledge in Provider Contracts and Medicare is a plus

? Analyzes business processes, tests, and develops improved business
processes using functional system design and other techniques such as
context diagrams, current and future state process models, key performance
indicators, and gap analysis.

? Recommends improvements in business processes based either on increased
effectiveness and efficiency or to accommodate changes in customer
expectations.

? Designs end user acceptance testing regimens, and determines performance
criteria, using standards defined in the business area.

? Creates and perform system testing, along with the ability to report on
the results of such testing.

? Assists and carry out system configuration decisions.

? Facilitates communication between technical and business staff with the
goal of finding the best solutions
