Truck Driver and Mover / Packer Job Requirements:

– Preferably 18 years old and above
– Must be in good physical condition.

– Must have valid driver’s license (for non CDL)
– Moving experience is a plus but not required will reflect on hourly rate

Driver Responsibilities:

– Responsible for transporting household goods/commercial equipment and furniture from origin to destination.
– Packing, Load and unload trucks using Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), pallet jacks, and hand trucks / dollies as needed
– Complying with drug-free workplace initiatives.
– Maintaining a tool kit for installation, assembly and breakdown of furniture or other items for transport.
– Must have the ability to work flexible or continuous shift hours, overtime and provide on-call support during normal scheduled work hours to meet business need
– Follows instruction from crew leader and adheres to all company policies and safety rules.

Mover Responsibilities:

– Assist with the residence and facility protection processes
– Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle
– Follows instruction and adheres to all company policies
– Carry or dolly items to and from vehicles and containers.
– Assist with assembly and disassembly of furniture and fixtures
– Protectively pad and wrap items for loading in vehicles and
containers
– Provide safe transportation for customer property

Packer Responsibilities:

– To prepare household goods for safe transportation by wrapping, padding or crating items in cartons or crates at the customers residence.
– Wrap breakable items with paper and bubble wrap and place securely in a moving box
– Mark boxes with appropriate inventory tags to ensure proper documentation
– When required, be able to prepare an inventory of items for shipment and inspect each item closely identifying any existing damages and listing these on the inventory.
– Be able to pack and load at a level of efficiency that will minimize claims for packing damage

1.  Job Summary:

The Kids Stuff Staff is responsible for providing quality care to children in a positive, nurturing environment while their parents are using the YMCA facilities.  The Kids Stuff Area could include children between the ages of 6 weeks and 10 years of age.

2.  Job Responsibilities:

Greet children and members.
Follow correct sign-in and out practices
Supervise, play, and initiate games and activities with children.
Maintain a safe play environment.
Communicate courteously with members.
Follow daily sanitizing procedures and help out with weekly cleaning schedules.

Senior Program Director

1. Job Summary:

The Senior Program Director contributes to the overall goals of the YMCA Association by providing leadership and coordination of multiple program and service areas including but not limited to Youth Development, Camping, Beacons, School Success, Child Care. Manage the program budgets to assure that financial and program service goals are attained.
Perform required administrative duties for the program.
Communicate and interpret programs, objectives, policies, and operating procedures to all department team members, volunteers and Y members and participants.
Deliver a high level of service for all program participants.
Participate in a staff leadership role for the Annual Campaign and Board Committees as defined by the Executive Director.
3. Relationships:

This position reports to the Executive Director or Program Executive. The incumbent has both supervisory and budgetary responsibilities.  This incumbent supervises and interacts regularly with staff, members, and the community.  This position requires regular interaction with youth, families, and seniors from a variety of diverse backgrounds. 

4. Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience working in youth development or community programs.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience designing, implementing and evaluating youth development or community programs.
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Ability to plan, organize, and implement youth programs.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with various groups to achieve a desired end result.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets.
Must be organized, self-directed, and creative.
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Must be certified in CPR/AED and First Aid Training, or able to become certified within the first 30 days of employment. (Training available upon employment)

Sports Coach – Futsal

As a Sports Coach you will respond to parents and team concerns, respond to incidents, and interact with parents and participants.  The Sports Coach provides high level of customer service and ensures a safe and positive program environment and leads by example. The Sports Coach will facilitate a program that enhances the lives of youth by assisting them to goal set and achieve their goals.

The Sports Coach may assist with data entry for registration and games using the team database. The Sports Coach will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and will help our youth improve their sport. The Sports Coach implements a program that will meet the different needs of all youth in the program, such as unity, spirit, teamwork, endurance, skill and technique improvement.   The Sports Coach will maintain sports equipment.  This role will require knowledge of a designated sport such as basketball, track, baseball, soccer, etc. The Sports Coach will need to be self-directed, organized and dependable to meet the needs of the sports program and participants.

Are you competitive?  Come Coach for the Y Sports Team!  The Sports Coach oversees the Sports program and coaching staff.  As a Sports Team Coach, you provide feedback on execution and direction during Sports practice and games.  The Sports Coach will develop goals for the sports team as well as individual goals.  The Sports Coach will plan the weekly practice workouts and manage the meet program placements. The Sports Coach will inspire and prepare students with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning.

As a Sports Coach you will respond to parents and team concerns, respond to incidents, and interact with parents and participants.  The Sports Coach provides high level of customer service and ensures a safe and positive program environment and leads by example. The Sports Coach will facilitate a program that enhances the lives of youth by assisting them to goal set and achieve their goals.

The Sports Coach may assist with data entry for registration and games using the team database. The Sports Coach will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and will help our youth improve their sport. The Sports Coach implements a program that will meet the different needs of all youth in the program, such as unity, spirit, teamwork, endurance, skill and technique improvement.   The Sports Coach will maintain sports equipment.  This role will require knowledge of a designated sport such as basketball, track, baseball, soccer, etc. The Sports Coach will need to be self-directed, organized and dependable to meet the needs of the sports program and participants. 

1.  Job Summary:

The Sports Coach is responsible for leading sports classes and coaching leagues to ensure that the program criteria and objectives are carried out. The incumbent is responsible for implementing curriculum, as assigned. The Sports Coach provides a safe, enjoyable experience to all program participants.

2.  Essential Functions:

Set up and lead team sports activities including all scheduled classes, practices and games.
Lead special programs and activities as required.
Attend all coach meetings.
Communicate important information regarding classes, practices and games to all players.
Adhere to YMCA policies, rules and objectives.
Follow emergency procedures and complete accident reports as necessary.
Maintain and assume responsibility for all sports equipment.
Demonstrate good sportsmanship and lead by example among volunteers, team parents and participants to support the responsibilities of the officials and sports leadership.
Work to establish and improve team unity and spirit.

3.  Relationships:

This position reports to the Sports Director/Sr. Sports Coordinator who reports to the Executive Director. The incumbent interacts regularly with staff, members, volunteers and the community. This position requires regular interaction with youth, families, and seniors from a variety of diverse backgrounds.

4.  Qualifications:

Required

Coaching experience at any level (preferably two (2) years of exp)
Working knowledge of designated sport
Ability to complete online concussion training within 30 days of hire.
Must be self-directed, motivated, dependable and organized
Ability and interest in working with people of diverse backgrounds
Strong communication and mediation skills

Preferred

Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/AED, First Aid and Oxygen

5.  Work Conditions:

Perform all physical aspects of the position, including being mobile, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time.
Ability to recognize and react calmly and effectively in hazardous/dangerous situations.

Medical Assistant for a busy Obgyn office located in Pikesville,MD 21208.,Starting pay $18.
Backstory we are a semi old fashion small practice that uses paper charts. Primarily serves a large quantity of the Jewish community. Hours are Mondays- 9:00am-8:30pm, Tuesdays + Wednesdays 9:00am-5:30pm, Thursdays 11:00am-7:30pm, and Fridays 7:30am-12:30pm. There are no benefits offered but 401k we match at 3%.
