Role 1 :Senior Azure Specialist
Location: Raritan, NJ
Role/JD:
will design and implement complex, secure, product-specific IaaS and PaaS
solutions for digital surgery capabilities, based on Azure cloud services.
Areas of responsibility include:
? Development of robust and secure designs for business solutions.
? Monitor network designs and employ technological advancements in business
network architecture.
? Develop and document the proposed technical design for the integration and
implementation of any new platform services
? Create detailed plans for the integration of new systems architecture into
existing infrastructure. Includes logistical plans for the Operations areas to
actually conduct the physical integrations, during which should provide
technical direction and support.
Provides software architecture direction and guidance; ensures alignment with
best of breed open source technologies; Drives consistency and quality of the
Architecture artifacts (business process architecture, data architecture, etc.
Guidance provided to Project/Solution Engineers to develop project level
requirements and establish compliance with software architecture, enterprise
and functional area strategic roadmaps. Establishment of software
interoperability across functional domains
Drive proof-of-concepts to validate architectures and designs that enable new
business capabilities.
Skills:
A minimum of 15+ years? experience in technology and architecture experience.
Proven experience in best practices in consulting, solution development,
architecture and delivery with proven success within an enterprise software
firms (Amazon, Microsoft, Google etc.) or Big 4 leading and supporting teams
that services clients and expertise of these areas.
? Multiple Certification in Microsoft Cloud Technologies is required. Deep
understanding of Azure Technology and how it can be applied to move our
healthcare solutions forward.
? Deep Understanding of cloud computing technologies with demonstrated
hands-on experience on one or more of the following domains:
o Azure Core Platform: Compute, Storage, Networking required
o AKS or Kubernetes engineering
o Data Platform: SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory
o Application development & debugging experience: C/C++/C#, Python, Node.JS,
etc.
o Azure Application Development or support experiences with Azure PaaS
services (Redis Cache, Service Bus, Event Hub, Cloud Service, IoT suite, Mobile
Apps, etc.)
o Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages
o Knowledge of at least one other cloud hosting solution in addition to Azure
(e.g. Google, AWS, Helion Cloud, SoftLayer).
o
? Understanding of DevOps principles and practices. Hands-on experience of
DevOps and provisioning automation tools, preferably including Jenkins and
Terraform.
? Must be adept at handling complexity and ambiguity. Must be skilled in
building strong cross-functional partnerships.
? Preferred: Experience of platform/software engineering under a formal
quality management system. Experience of engineering in a formally regulated
industry (healthcare, pharma, aerospace, etc.)
