Lead DevSecOps Engineer ( development, security and operations)

Job description

Lead DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation
of applications’ build, release, deployment, and configuration activities.
Other responsibilities include working with internal teams and external
clients to gather requirements, architecting, implementing/updating
solutions, building and executing test plans, performing quality reviews,
managing operations, and fixing operational issues.

Responsibilities:

· Lead, develop and execute the Enterprise DevSecOps Strategy to
support the DevSecOps roadmap for CLIENT

· Provide expertise in the definition, adoption and adherence to
Enterprise DevSecOps architecture strategies, processes, and standards

· Lead and manage Enterprise Tools roadmap

· Responsible for establishing and ongoing management of the
DevSecOps Pipelines

· Responsible for defining the architecture standards, best practices
and guidelines for Enterprise Tools and DevSecOps Practices

· Provide technology solutions to program teams to ensure that
technology designs can properly support the business requirements while
adhering to standard design patterns

· Partner with key associates (e.g. Enterprise Architects, Solution
Architects, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Infrastructure Engineers,
Solution Delivery Managers) to create well-defined DevSecOps solutions that
are aligned to the CLIENT IT Strategy

· Ensures that the designs leverage common architectures and services
that can meet key program design criteria (Availability, Recoverability,
Scalability, Performance characteristics) and can be properly supported by
the CLIENT IT engineering, support, and operations teams throughout a
program?s lifecycle

· Within the development lifecycle, provide leadership and direction
on a variety of design decisions including, solution evaluation and
selection, buy vs. build questions, platform selection, and high-level
technical design

· Guide high-level comprehensive technical solution designs that
address the needs of key stakeholders from the business, infrastructure,
and operations areas on multiple development projects

· Coordinate the development of a formalized technology solution
methodology to align with the different execution models

· Participate in Architecture Reviews for a broad set of programs

· Ensure compliance with all architecture directions and frameworks
including technical, security, and regulatory standards. Assist with formal
exception and waiver requests when necessary

· Participate in the identification of new technologies as well as
the development, review, and approval of enterprise architectural
standards, processes, frameworks, and guiding principles

· Proactively research new vendors, technologies, and industry best
practices. Determine relevancy and impact of implementing new solution
architecture methodologies

· Assist and advise engineering teams in the configuration, testing,
implementation, and support of technical architecture solutions
