Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required
Degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred
Apprenticeship or education and maintenance experience equivalence required
10+ years of manufacturing experience, with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and industrial skills
Ability to travel up to 25% of time
Must be a keen communicator, and be able to assist remotely, as well as on site at multiple locations.
Ideal candidate will have working knowledge of TPM, including implementation experience and expertise.
Kaizen philosophy and applied experience a plus
Job Duties:
job is primarily concerned with successfully and effectively leading all aspects of distribution center operations.
Establish, monitor and facilitate efficient production and quality standards to meet logistic schedules and goals.
Ensures compliance with all Safety, Quality and Governmental requirements.
Oversee implementation of shipping schedules, QC and Preventive Maintenance programs, and production standards.
Plan, develop and implement long-term strategic planning of distribution goals, personnel development, and business objectives.
Establish, maintain and analyze budgets, records, and other controls to keep costs at a minimum.
Review financial/purchasing performance of the distribution center.
Ensure appropriate staffing and training of organization as needs are identified.
Coach and review performance of direct reports.
