Senior Human Resource Consultant

-Contribute to departmental human resource management policies, programs and projects including research, design, planning, implementation and review.
-Provide a high level consultancy and advisory service to departmental management on relevant human resource management issues.
-Contribute to the design and implementation of corporate training and development programs.
-Prepare high level documentation including reports, options papers, briefing papers, policy papers and practices and procedural guidelines.
-Liaise and consult with the institute, public and private sector organisations on relevant human resource management issues.
-playing a key role in the review, development and implementation of policies, practices and procedures including participation on working groups;
-providing a high level, effective consultancy and advisory service to management;
-active contribution to the development and implementation of corporate training and development programs;
-representing the Division and the Department in an appropriate manner;
-maintaining a thorough knowledge of relevant Government and Departmental policies, practices and procedures;
-preparing high level detailed documentation;
-maintaining confidentiality; and
-ensuring a safe working environment by complying with relevant Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation, codes of practice and policies, procedures and guidelines issued under the Department Management System.
