Description

As a Windows Systems Engineer you will be a member of small team dedicated to maintaining, enhancing, and fixing any bugs discovered in on going systems.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

Creating, modifying, and maintaining Enterprise level Windows Group Policy Objects.
Growing with technology and recommending advances in software or hardware to fulfill customer requirements
Providing guidance in regards to automated solutions for complex data processing
Performing verification checks of scripts
Reviewing event logs
Providing training, leadership, and documentation Maintenance
Required Skills:

Demonstrated experience with Windows 7 and 10 Operating Systems
Demonstrated experience with Windows Group Policy Objects
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft System Configuration Manager
Experience with scripting languages (i.e. Batch or PowerShell)
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Experience with virtualization environments and/or software (i.e. VMware and Hyper-V)
Understanding of the SDLC from requirements gathering to architecture
Understanding of Server Operating Systems, Protocols, and Administration of a multi-tiered secure IT environment
Ability to troubleshoot and adapt to roadblocks
Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast pace environment
Ability to to communicate with the client and provide strong customer service
Education:

Candidate must have one of the following:

10 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
8 Years of job related experience and Associate’s degree
4-7 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
3 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
2 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
Desired Skills:

Experience with DevOps and Agile frameworks
Experience with cloud technologies such AWS or Azure
Desired Certs:

Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
Core hours: 9:00AM – 3:00PM
