We are seeking a Tax Manager for our public accounting/financial services client, located near Portland, Maine.
Responsible for helping to promote the Company; building and maintaining strong client relationships and serving as an advisor to these clients while recommending and providing tax planning, accounting services and financial strategies. Preparing and reviewing individual and/or business tax returns. Serving as a mentor for junior staff.
Must have experience with QuickBooks, Lacerte tax software and tax research experience. Must have outstanding client service, project management, communication, analytical and time management skills. Must be self-motivated and professional.
CPA/EA and/or Master’s degree in Taxation is required. A minimum of seven years’ experience in preparing individual and/or business tax returns (trust and non-profit experience is a plus).
