– The team is looking for a Senior / Principal Software Engineer to act as a lead and spearhead efforts to build a data science platform used to model financial data.
– The first release occurred earlier this year and there will be major enhancements and features added throughout the year and beyond.
– This is a full stack development role:
Required Skills/Qualifications:
– Strong Core Java design and development
– Experience developing Java Web Services using Springboot
– JavaScript/Angular experience for front-end development
– Strong hands on experience with Cloud/AWS including integration with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS and EKS
– Strong knowledge of DevOps / CICD pipelines including on experience with Jenkins and Docker
– Experience building complex, data intensive applications and have the ability to suggest tools and platforms suitable for the use case.
– Practical experience leading product design sessions, providing leadership and guidance to junior engineers and working with leadership to update on progress.
