Network Engineer – Top Secret

GENERAL DUTIES

Provide core technical leadership to the architecture, installation and planning of a variety of solutions across multiple networks
Support the design and integration of various components of technology, including developing recommendations for new technologies to the customer when appropriate
Architect and lead the setup, configuration, and support of internal and/or external networks
Develop and maintain security and network configurations
Troubleshoots network performance issues, create and maintain network diagrams and documentation
Recommends upgrades for new applications and equipment
Architect and maintain LAN/WAN technologies, routing and switching platforms, troubleshoot critical issues, and coordinate implementations
Test and evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements
Configure multiple OS routers/firewalls and switches
expert in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology
Experience in network designing software, such as Visio
Deploy and manage network devices (various switches, routers, and firewalls)
Experience with multiple network device operating systems
Experienced with networking tool sets such as NetScout, Wireshark, and SolarWinds
Have Layer 3 networking experience
Proficient with different routing capabilities, such as VRF, OSPF, MPLS, VPLS, BGP, and GREs
Experience with encrypted networks
QUALIFICATIONS

2 years of experience
Bachelor’s Degree
CLEARANCE

Active Top Secret Security Clearance
