Job Title : Database Programmer
Location : Chesterfield, MO.
Client : Dupont.
Duration : 6+ Months.
Visa Status : Citizens & GreenCard.

JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are looking for a .NET developer responsible for building applications in VB .NET and C#. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is also necessary. Your primary responsibilities will be to design, develop, maintain, and support applications written in house. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable .NET code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Provide customer support to fellow employees who use the applications that are being built
• Translate application requests of ranging amount of detail into functional applications
• Provide some improvements and support on some legacy or third-party products

Qualifications:
• Proficient in VB .NET and C# programming
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
• Knack for writing clean, readable code
• Familiarity with Epicor a plus but not required
• Be able to work within a small team
• Be able to interact with your customers since they are your fellow employees
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Bachelor’s degree
