Job Title : WMS Consultant
Location : Frisco, TX Some travel needed
Project : 6 months
Mandatory Skills: 15 years of industry or consulting experience ideally in
Logistics/ Transportation industry
Job Description:
– Looking for a Functional consultant and not a technical one.
– Project experience in Legacy applications to Digital transformation
is a big plus.
– Candidate should have Warehouse industry experience and solid
interaction with end users.
– Knowledge of JDA WMS/ SAP/ Oracle
– Should be based out of Frisco/ Travel is required (With in TX and
at times to IL)
– Need contractors for 6 months which is extendable up to 2 years
· Functional Skills and Experience
o Minimum 15 years of industry or consulting experience ideally in
Logistics/ Transportation industry, with an excellent track record of leading
and supporting complex, cross-functional initiatives
o Deep knowledge of logistics/transportation end to end business value
chain
o Ability to do domain consulting/ advisory services (Business Process
Improvement/ Re-engineering, Gap Analysis, CRPs, Transformation Roadmaps etc.)
o Proven Thought leadership acumen for the industry trends and drivers
o Should have been part of the defining the roadmaps for Business
Transformational and business process design for marquee manufacturing
organizations
o A deep understanding of the issues and future challenges facing the
global discreet/Process manufacturing industry – either from working for a
manufacturing organization or working in a research or consulting company
specializing in this area.
o Excellent analytical skills and a strong sense for structure and logic
o Experience of working with globally dispersed project teams, in a matrix
organizational set-up
o Strong domain knowledge to understand how the business solutions within
the area of focus can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer
business processes.
o Experience in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and
drawing valid conclusions
o Strong proactive communicator and presenter, able to influence and
collaborate at all levels
o Experience in implementing advanced business solutions from either of
JDA, SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis will be a plus
o Ability to work independently and be effective/proactive in a relatively
unstructured environment
o Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with
customers, partners and consultants

o Highly developed critical thinking, interpretative and analytical skills
o Positive, determined, resilient, confident and resourceful in the face
of challenges
o Customer oriented
· Languages and mobility
o Fluent in English
o Geographic mobility ? Flexibility to travel across the US and
(occasionally on business need) across GEO?s.
