Description:

Qualifications:

·         15+ years of relevant experience with SQL Server 2012 and Above,
Windows Server 2012 and Above

·         Strong Hands on experience on SQL Server Always on & FCI, Disaster
Recovery , and Windows Failover Clustering for SQL Workloads.

·         Strong experience with database performing factors, monitoring
tools, and tuning procedures

·         Strong experience with Database Administration tasks such as index
creation and management, integrity checks, configuration, patching, and
statistics

·         Desirable skills: Managing MariaDB, Influx DB on Linux Platform

 

Job Functions:

Data Team ( DB Support) ( On Prem/IaaS/PaaS) SQL Server – Engine, SSRS, SSIS),

·         Monitor and Manage Database Servers

·         Working on Health Assessment review and remediation.

·         Support Application Database Deployments

·         Collaborate with Apps Support, Infra, Testing and Development team
for any Database Projects

·         Manage Database Failover Support including managing and maintaining
with infra team on HA and DR availability.

·         Manage Database backups and Availability.

·         Integrate with infra team for Patching and DB CU updates on regular
basis.

·         Driving Database Scrum call for DBA team

·         SQL Server Upgrade Projects

·         Security Management /DB Servers

·         On call Production Support (24/7)

·         Support IR, PR and Change Requests

·         Work closely with Infra Architects and Cross Domain architects on
regular basis on Standardization and SQL Server, Opensource current and future
products
