Automation Tester (Azure)

Position Description:
– QA testing for multiple projects
– Resolve testing issues impacting the QA deliverables.
– Develop detailed test plans and test suites for multiple projects.
– Create, maintain, and manage test data, using test management tools.
– Socialize QA strategy, QA Test plans, and ensure that best practices
are implemented and adhered to
– Actively participates in scums meeting and provide, refine QA
estimations.
– Responsible for test execution and QA support in test and stagging
environments
– Perform sanity testing and provide production check-out support, once
in two weeks.
– Test Automation with selenium and CI/CD/CT pipelines
– Summarize test results and report the metrics on daily and weekly
basis to leadership teams.
Required Education | Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or
other technology related fields
– 5+ years of expertise in QA testing and experienced in test planning,
leading and implementing QA process.
– 3+ years of experience in requirements analysis/ user stories,
writing, executing test cases within Azure DevOps
– 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure Test plan and test
management, with ability to deploy code via pipelines.
– 6 years of hands-on test automation experience in Selenium or
open-source automation tools and establishing QA test automation for QA
projects
– Understanding of backend DB systems and general database querying
knowledge
– 5 years of defect management, defect triaging, defect remediation and
root cause reporting
– 3 years of experience in test traceability, ensuring requirements to
functional deliveries
– Demonstrated experience with Agile, hybrid-agile and waterfall
methodologies
