Software Engineer

Software Engineer – JAVA

Remote to start but eventually will follow a hybrid model (2-3 days onsite)
once the Covid restrictions are lifted up

12 – 24 months contract

1- Java

2- AWS

3- Node JS

4- Python experience

Responsibilities:

? Design and develop REST services using Java/J2EE, Spring and Amazon Web
Services

? Design and develop AWS lambdas using NodeJS and/or Python

? Participate in requirements discussions with analysts and business partners
and strategic recommendations for approach/solution

? Understanding of technical refinement and ability to scope, task and
estimate level of effort

Required Skills:

? Proficient in Java, NodeJS and/or Python and is comfortable switching
between them

? Experience with various AWS services like S3, SQS, SNS, Lambdas, ECS, EC2,
DynamoDB, RDS (Postgres)

? Experience with Unix

? Experience with SQL

? Experience with the build language Gradle, Maven.

? Experience with source code control, preferably Git.

Desired Skills:

? Cloud-related Technologies: Docker, Hashicorp tool suite ? Terraform,
Vault, etc.

? Front-End Technologies: ReactJS and/or Angular ? Developer tools: IntelliJ,
Visual Studio Code
