Sr. Linux Engineer

Position: Sr. Linux Engineer

Location: Collierville, TN

. Experience with RedHat Linux support in Enterprise Datacenter
Environment

. Linux servers build, upgrade & patching

. Linux servers Administration in VMWare and HP Proliant
environments

. Linux package management using yum and rpm

. Support daily operations to Linux/Unix server such as capacity
management, performance monitoring, provisioning, and network systems
connectivity

. Understanding of linux user administration and sudo rule
configuration

. Configure and implement veritas filesystem and cluster

. Configure and implement Redhat cluster cman/pacemaker

. Troubleshooting day-to-day Linux operating system issues

. Troubleshooting of Linux performance issues

. Create and modify Linux shell scripting to automate tasks and
integrate solutions

. Good understanding of Linux kernel and architecture

. Good understanding on DevOps tools like puppet, ansible, docker
etc.

. Good understanding of ITIL process and concepts

. Good understanding on HP Proliant Hardware for identifying
hardware failures from Linux CLI and performing firmware upgrades

. Good understanding on SAN storage LUNS administration on Linux

. Willing to learn and work on customized tools and technologies
present in the environment

. Willing to work in 24×7 multi shift support environment

. Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal
skills

. Meeting SLA for all the requests
