Azure Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Responsibilities/KRAs:
– As an Azure Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible to manage
a range of Infrastructure Services encompassing Azure and other Cloud
Subscriptions, catering to delivery project requirements across customer
and internal, Line of Business applications, and organization role
readiness.
– Assist in the architecture, design, and build of the cloud
infrastructure within Microsoft Azure
– Provisioning, managing Azure Infrastructure using automation
PowerShell, ARM templates, Azure Blueprints
– Deep technical experience in infrastructure design, build and
deployment, including private and public cloud, networking, connectivity,
storage, virtualization, and identity
– Implementation of Azure networking for enterprise organizations
– Implement automation
– Securing, managing, and monitoring Azure environments
– Experience building and deploying resilient Azure cloud architectures
– Experience with the Azure CLI, PowerShell/Azure PowerShell and the
Azure Portal
– Experience working with or using Azure technologies such as virtual
machines, blob, queues, tables, Cloud Services, web apps, functions apps,
Azure Active Directory, Virtual Networks, etc.
– Actively collaborate with Stakeholders and Internal Business units to
understand the requirements and deliver efficiently.
Must Have:
– 5-6 years of experience working as Azure Infra. Engineer
– Hands-on experience on Azure Services, Networking and Cloud-based
technologies
– Strong expertise in building/managing Azure infrastructure using
Powershell scripting, Azure Vnet Creation / Peering, Managing Gateways.
Setting up Express Routes. Managing NSGs. Azure Firewall Instance
management
– Strong understanding of different Azure IaaS services and platform
and their associated limitations
– Understanding and exposure to Azure Cloud Shell for performing
administrative tasks
– Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills
in a Cloud or Virtualized environment preferred
– Ability to read, interpret and/or develop technical specifications,
diagrams, and infrastructure blueprint
– Ability to understand and analyze issues independently and use
judgment to make decisions to run services optimally and/or restore
services quickly in the event of a failure
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Need to be excellent team player. Onsite-offshore coordination is
required.
