Technician and Lead are responsible for performing calibration and
maintenance of their customer’s equipment. Maintaining inventory and
dispatching rental equipment. Liaison with the sales team, customers and
suppliers. Providing technical support to customers by phone, email, video
or on-site visits (less than 10% travel).
Metrology Laboratory Lead is also responsible for developing, managing and
guiding the other calibration specialists and general oversight of the
calibration laboratory.
Must have strong communication (verbal and written), organization, and
practical skills and the ability to work as part of or lead a team. Must
have (any or all of the following): technical knowledge in measurement
instrumentation such as temperature, pressure, relative humidity and CO2.
Knowledge of data loggers and associated software; temperature mapping and
thermal validation. Experience with equipment and applications such as
Autoclaves, Lyophilizers, SIP, Depyrogenation tunnels, ULT Freezers and
temperature-controlled storage units.
Associate’s degree in Metrology or related field is preferred and hands-on
related work experience is required. Training is available for industry
specific skills.
