Position: DevOps/Support Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle questions, Diagnose problems and resolve technical issues that arise
in the Infrastructure & the platform.
Report/Escalate the issues through appropriate channels.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external
stakeholders.
Help building the knowledge base for the support related tasks.
Participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience working with AWS core services like EC2, S3,
IAM, VPC, Security groups, Load Balancers, etc..
DevOps experience in areas of automation: Linux Bash scripting, Jenkins,
Ansible, Terraform.
Expertise in Linux system administration, monitoring and task automation.
Strong knowledge on Networking TCP/IP, Routing, DNS
Solidly grounded in the basic fundamentals of Cloud, network and System
security.
Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid Problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Mesos, DC/OS, other container orchestration tools.
Knowledge on Network Mesh for service discovery, Nginx plus load balancers.
