Position Description: Global InfoTek Inc. is looking for an experienced cyber tool developer to support development of new tools or modification of existing tools to support the cyber investigations division of a law enforcement agency. A successful candidate will have experience, skills and talent to operate effectively alone or within an agile development team to develop ground-breaking new tools to help protect critical cyber infrastructure.
Required Skills:
1. Three years of software engineering experience within the last five years, and at least six years of development, technical analysis, malware analysis, military intelligence, DNI, or similar
2. Proficiency in two or more programming or scripting languages such as C, C++, Java, Assembly, Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, Node.js, Spark, Puppet, SALT, KAFKA, HADOOP, etc.
3. Knowledge of x86/64, ARM, and MIPS instruction sets and architectures.
4. Understanding of exploit development including arbitrary code execution, privilege execution, security bypass, continuity of execution, rootkits/bootkits, C2 techniques, obfuscation techniques, etc.
5. Cross-compile tools across architectures.
6. Skilled at simulation/model development and prototyping.
7. Familiarity with disassemblers/decompilers such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, Radare, or Binary Ninja.
8. Proficiency with software debuggers using tools such as WinDbg, OllyDbg, GDB, KGDB, NTSD, IDA Debugger, or other similar tools.
9. Strong technical writing skills.
Desired Skills:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development or related discipline from an accredited institution in addition to the required experience.
2. Proficiency in three or more of the above programming or scripting languages.
3. Certifications such as SANS GXPN, GPYC, GCWN; Offensive Security OSEE, OSCE, OSWE, or other similar technical certifications
