Job Description
We’re looking for a UX Architect to join our Dealership Management Systems UX
Team. We value creative, self-driven individuals who care about the work they
produce and the people they work with?and we love a good sense of humor, too.
The DMS UX Architect will collaborate with Researchers and peers within and
outside UX to help CDK ensure an efficient information space and presentation
layer for our end users. You will investigate existing data patterns, identify
redundancies, reveal new pieces of information needed, and help us move toward
presenting users with useful, actionable information rather than data. At the
same time, you will be helping to remove inefficiencies within our databases
and our way of thinking about the problem space. You will work to create the
foundation for a great user experience.
Responsibilities:
? Map existing architecture and information patterns
? Streamline and optimize those patterns based on acquired knowledge of a
broad range of end user needs
? Research and evaluate the usability of divergent design solutions to
identify the best solution
? Create IA and specifications for Development, UX and Product teams
? Project plan so that large projects can be broken down and delivered within
timeline
Must-Have Skills/Background
? A portfolio demonstrating your design and Information Architecture
experience
? Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in User Experience, Human Factors, or similar
background, with 1-2 of professional experience. Relevant academic or
internship work would be considered.
? A degree in Design, UX, HCI, human factors, or similar
? Strong understanding of agile project management, SAFe© and the design
process
? Proficient in Atlassian Confluence + JIRA, Jira Align, Google Drive, and
Slack
? Self-motivated and able to work well with a diverse group of people.
? Comfortable with ambiguity and malleable workflows
? Experience working with and applying user research data
? Attention to detail with borderline obsessive organizational skills
? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
