6+ Months Contract
Candidates must be local to be considered or relocate to Michigan prior to
starting. Will require Michigan address to send information and possible
equipment. Previous Healthcare experience is preferred.
Application Developer
Not a UNIX/Linux developer, but should know UNIX/Linux commands
Strong batch processing experience
Strong SQL, Stored procedures
Strong development and database experience
Application Developers have a strong knowledge of programming languages used
by the organization. They have experience in systems design and have a solid
understanding of development, database development, testing, and integration
methodologies. Knowledge of current and emerging IT products, services and
processes is required.
Work Complexity
– Works on major projects as a project team member, sometimes as a
project lead.
– Works on projects that may span a broad range of applications.
– Supports multiple applications.
– Expertise in multiple technical environments and possesses business
knowledge that spans one or more business areas.
Required Skills/Experience ? 5 Plus years
? Understanding and working knowledge of basic UNIX/Linux commands.
? SDLC methodology
? Developing and executing unit testing
? Code version control
? Written and verbal communication
? Ability to conform with established coding standards
Preferred Skills/Experience ? 5 Plus years
? Application integration solutions
? Batch and real-time solutions
? Relational databases including SQL and stored procedures
? Object-oriented design and development
? Experience with Provider or Payer Health care systems
Education/Certifications
? Bachelor degree required ? Computer Science or Equivalent
