Role: Backend Golang Engineers
Duration: 6 months+
Location: New York, NY
1. Golang (Java will also be looked at heavily)
2. Deep Cassandra knowledge (DynamoDB is another option here)
3. API Experience
4. Streaming: Kafka
BONUS: AWS (EC2, ECS, S3)
BONUS: Spark or PySpark
BONUS: Spring Boot
Day to Day: Building out an Agile team and they are building internal
enterprise services being consumed by other LOB’s at Capital One
Looking for backend engineers who have excellent Golang experience (Java
secondary will be reviewed) and deep Cassandra experience. Also consider
NoSQL.
Looking for good API experience development on some of the roles.
Breakdown of Hiring:
Would like to hire 1-2 Golang Developers with deep knowledge on the
Cassandra database side
6-8 of these will be more on the application side with solid Java/Go and
solid database
There is an opportunity for a lead developer amongst the group as well.
