Personal Care Worker

MCFI Home Care is a nonprofit organization committed to helping people live more independently. Our mission is to provide safe and supportive home care to our clients. We currently service over 500 clients across Wisconsin. As a staff member, you will be a valuable part of ensuring that our clients maintain their independence at home and in the community. We offer flexible scheduling, free training, and encourage all experience levels to apply. Responsibilities Caregivers assist clients with:
 Personal care
 Advanced personal care
 Medical assistance personal care
 Supportive home care
 Respite and companionship
As a caregiver, you would receive a task list which describes the type of care you would be providing to the client. Assigned tasks can include, but are not limited to, grooming, dressing, bathing and hygiene, laundry, cooking, light housekeeping, and transporting clients to and from medical appointments. Upon hire, caregivers are required to attend orientation to learn more about our policies and procedures. Caregivers are responsible for maintaining communication with their supervisors and the MCFI Home Care office as needed. Requirements and Qualifications
 A high level of patience and a positive, caring attitude
 The ability to provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients
 Must be 18 years of age or older
 Maintain a professional relationship with clients and staff
 Adhere to HIPPA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of clients
 Physical demands may include moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and kneeling around the client. Certain tasks may be done with the assistance of equipment such as wheelchairs, lifting devices and specialized beds.
 Valid driver’s license and vehicle are not required. Applicants with a valid driver’s license and vehicle can pick up additional hours for clients who require transportation services.
