The Truck Driver/Mover picks up items from customers and transports them in a safe and efficient manner. The position loads items in and out of the moving truck promptly, keeping customer service a priority. Driver observes all safety regulations including driving safely and obeying all traffic rules and regulations.
Movers are responsible for ensuring that items are undamaged and placed in the correct position in the new location.
To be successful as a Truck Driver/Mover you must have stamina to perform manual duties that often require strength. You should also be able to plan the most efficient ways to pack items into the moving truck. Movers will be interacting with customers and must have great customer service skills and a positive attitude.
When not moving items, the Mover will be helping in the warehouse performing general warehouse duties and photographing items for auction.
Truck Driver/Mover Requirements:
Physically fit.
Punctual and professional.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to be insured by the company’s insurance.
