Detailed Job Description:
Participate in Functional and Technical requirement gathering and understanding
Alation implementation and configuration technical support
Data ingestion, setup leveraging Talend, Snowflake on Azure cloud platform
Technical support on Data Cataloging using Alation
Data governance process definition and customization as per business requirements
Support troubleshooting of environment or technical issues, if any, and track to closure.
Support Alation environment setup as needed
Support establishing connectivity between Alation and other data sources like Snowflake, Power BI, Azure platform etc.
Support setting up of users, roles and responsibilities, if needed
Configure platform to create data catalogs, glossary, attributes etc. based on requirements for Pilot
Configure Alation to enable Pilot.
Preparation of test data and environment for Pilot POC findings and outcome documentation
Training guide / cheat sheets to support Pilot
Technical documentation for Alation rollout
Documentation to support environment setup for Pilot
Other Functional and technical documentation as needed
Exposure to Data Governance
Minimum years of experience : 5+
