Role: Sr Java Developer
Location: Rockville, MD
Duration: Contract to hire
Required Experience and Capabilities:
At least Seven (7) years of professional Java coding/programming experience
with well-honed Object Oriented development skills;
demonstrable proficiency with multiple Java Frameworks, with Hibernate and
Spring most preferred;
OpenID Connect;
Agile development process;
Jira, Atlassian, Confluence;
US citizenship or Green card with the ability to pass a Background
Investigation/BI.
Preferred skills include:
Any experience designing & building a “single sign-on solution”;
past experience Implementing effective and efficient multi-factor
authentication;
Creating, validating, and using JSON Web Tokens (JWT);
OAuth 2.0 protocol;
Experience or direct knowledge of NIH central identity management system
Additional experience in supporting large data/big data solutions for HHS,
NIH, or similar federal agencies;
Amazon Web Service;
One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving,
analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills, and be able to work well
alone and as part of a team.
