IT – Test Engineer | Network-Cable | DOCSIS Converters – Cable Modem (Cisco)

Detailed Job Description:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Bethpage, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related area of study or equivalent work experience.
At least 7 years of working experience in Cable domain, DOCSIS Standards
Mandatory CPE, Wifi, Cable Modem, Routers and STB testing and troubleshooting experience.
Proven network troubleshooting experience and knowledge of tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump. etc.
Strong IP networking knowledge including DHCP, UDP, TCP.
Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Networking technologies, L2&L3 protocols
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
Ability to design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
Knowledge of any coding language such as Python, GoLang, Perl, C etc.
Knowledge of User stories testing, defect filing, troubleshooting, tracking of bugs
Experience with HP ALM, JIRA tools
