Special Education
Description:
May assist special education teachers in maintaining a positive learning environment in the classroom, insuring the continuance of the education program developed by the teacher. May also assist a student in self-sufficiency, communication, interpersonal, social, academic and mobility skills. Assist student with balance, following directions, fine and/or gross motor activities, assist student on/off the van, prompts to stay focused, complex support needs, etc.
Qualifications:
• HS diploma/GED required
• Experience working with students with special needs, preferred
Terms of Employment:
Part-time, 2 days/week, temporary
Salary:
$95/day
