Manage team that:
Monitors compliance and loss control activities within client organizations.
Provides expertise on compliance issues, manages audit activities and stays abreast of new regulations and standards.
Drives performance improvement and accreditation and certification processes.
Advises and collaborates with client organizations to ensure that compliance, risk and control issues are identified and managed proactively to reduce institutional liability and to promote safety.
Participates in: The investigation of adverse events and collaborative case reviews; Prepararation reports related to such events; Providing the required time-based follow up and documentation to external agencies and regulatory organizations.
Supports the investigation of adverse events and helps develop plans for action and follow up.
Collaborates on patient relations activities and provides guidance to clients on complex complaint issues involving legal, risk and patient safety or quality of care implications.
Counsels hospital employees as necessary with regard to legal proceedings in which they are professionally involved.
Provides oversight, monitoring and management of the physician insurance products .
