Description

As a Software Engineer you will of develop code, and come up with innovative designs to solve the most complex technical problems. You will work with web applications and services from gathering requirements to deployment of software systems.

Your Responsibilities will include:

Leveraging best practices to design well documented, high performing, and testable code
Designing applications optimized for handling data
Building REST services to support/integrate both the Frontend and Middle Tier
Working with a team to turn requirements into technical implementations
Troubleshooting and mitigating problems both technical and non technical
Producing and updating technical documentation
Working with program managers to provide Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Required Skills:

Demonstrated experience with Agile Methodologies
Demonstrated experience with the SDLC
Demonstrated experience with Quality Assurance, Testing, and Debugging
Demonstrated experience with Java and the Spring Framework within the last 3 years
Demonstrated experience with SecDevOps frameworks and technologies such as:
CI/CD
Git
Jenkins
CloudWatch
Docker etc.
Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies
Demonstrated experience creating self healing infrastructure
Demonstrated experience with autoscaling and EC2 instances
Demonstrated experience with microservice architecture
Demonstrated experience with Angular and Material
Experience with Apache Kafka services
Experience using infrastructure as code (i.e CloudFormation)
Familiarity with 3 or more of the following:
Node.js
ASP.Net
Java
JavaScript
XSLT
REST Interfaces and API’s
Knowledge of coding best practices and methodologies such as:
Test driven development
Continuous integration
Technical Documentation
Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel both verbally and in written form
Education:

Candidate must have one of the following:

12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
10 Years of job related experience and Associate’s degree
8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
Desired Skills:

Experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer (Backend/Frontend experience)
Experience with the following technologies and programming languages:
Node.js
Java
Elastic Search
Remote Desktop Services
Desired Certs:

N/A
