We are looking for a motivated candidate to fill a Business Technology Analyst role!
The position of Business & Technology Analyst serves as the co-owner of project initiatives between business and Information Technology. Candidates will work closely with all facets of the business to analyze and clearly communicate business needs to Executive Sponsors and to Information Technology as a foundation for development projects. This individual must have a proven ability to understand, document and communicate complex business needs clearly and concisely in an Agile development environment. Applicants with eCommerce experience is preferred. This candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. This position requires the capability to work on multiple projects with a positive attitude.
Requirements:
5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in eCommerce
Experience serving as a Scrum Master on an Agile software development team
Working knowledge of software design and programming principles
Conduct interviews and perform analysis to create business cases for IT projects
Strong analytical, problem solving and diagramming skills
Lead and manage the requirements gathering and analysis process on several concurrent projects
Write clear, concise detail oriented requirements documents
Assist in the process of creating Specification documentation types
Promote use and acceptance of Agile project methodology and documentation standards
Maintain a repository of project artifacts
Desired Skills:
Experience in performing requirements analysis in web development
Degree or commensurate experience in Business Analysis or Technical Writing
Project management experience other disciplines
Experience with JIRA or similar Project Management tools
