SR Java Developer

Sr Java Engineer
Location: Timonium, MD 21093
Duration: Long term rolling (potentially could extend)
As a Sr. Java Engineer you will be embedded in an agile development team
responsible for automating all aspects of the build, test and release process.
You will review requirements, use cases, user stories, and functional
specifications to provide feedback and work with other Engineers to create a
robust test automation plan for major releases. You will build, maintain, and
improve a test automation framework that ensures successful iterative
development, system testing, regression testing, and post-production acceptance.

Responsibilities:

-Reviewing builds and getting status of those builds/testing as of that day

-Hands on development to write automate tests and writing code to validate
development

-Conduct manual testing to validate

-Providing status updates, planning, architecture, and much more!!!

Requirements:

– 8+ years of Java development experience with a focus on Software Test
Automation

– 4+ years of experience developing a Java API test automation solution using
a known framework such as JUnit or TestNG

– Full project testing lifecycle experience including requirements analysis,
test planning, test creation, manual testing, automated test development, ci/cd
configuration and execution

– Implementing high level test practices in long-term agile project scenarios

– RESTful web service functional and regression testing in black, grey and
white box situations

– Implementation and configuration of CI/CD builds using Jenkins or Teamcity

– Using REST Assured, Swagger and Postman for testing, test development and
debugging purposes

– Version control using Git

– Experience with Springboot and JAX-RS, Hibernate, JPA and JMS
