Develop close working relationships with key customer technical contacts, ensuring business opportunities are recognized and responded to at an early stage.
Attend on-site and off-site customer meetings for scoping, reporting, and supporting ongoing projects.
Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate technical and management aspects of engineering projects to develop packaging machinery such as bottle packers, tray packers, case packers, case sealers, shrink wrappers, shrink bundlers, product uncasers, and similar.
Support design team to create conceptual designs for new advanced products and configurations based on customer requirements using 3D CAD; verify design integrity using commercial FEA tools; and ensure accurate transfer to manufacturing drawings.
Foster continuous improvement by engaging in training and implementing initiatives.
