POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, administer & perform tasks involved in the operation and maintenance of an engineering technical library.
Adjust or update library and reproduction procedures.
Maintain the collection of technical publications, specifications and manufacturer’s catalogs.
Maintain annual subscriptions to technical publications.
Maintain electronic master files used in the cross reference of all classes of ships.
Archive original drawings and documents in the library for preservation.
Regularly perform reviews, evaluation & updates of archived items to determine retention value.
File, index and update all reference materials as required.
Assist others in the location of needed library records.
Operate standard industry electronic and/or computer equipment used to produce reproductions, drawings and similar records.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
US Citizen
Only candidates currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance (or higher) will be considered for this position.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
A working knowledge of PowerPoint, SUPDESK, Business Objects and (MRQT) Material Requirements tool.
Experience at Regional Maintenance Centers (RMC) is advantageous.
