Detailed Job Description:
Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership to deploy technology solutions. Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project. Position will be responsible for installing and supporting Windows 2012 and Windows 2016 and associated applications in Physical and Virtual Environments. Leads complex projects and issues within functional technical areas and cross functional area Works independently with IT functional units and business units. Recommends strategies for technical aspects of projects as well as broad system improvements, with a focus on Windows Server Systems. Performs additional job duties as required.

Responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute :
In – depth knowledge in installing and configuring Windows server 2012 and Windows 2016
Deep experience Windows Tunables, server hardware, and installation processes
In-depth experience in Windows Active Directory Domain Services
Experience in working with Windows DNS server
Deep understanding and experience in computer network at the data link layer (OSI layer 2) / VLANs
High Level of experience with Windows patching processes and validation
Must have in-depth knowledge in installing Physical and Virtual Windows 2012 and Windows 2016 Servers
Candidate must be proficient in VMware ESX\Virtualization Technologies (ESX 5.0 or greater, Virtual Center, P2V tools)
Knowledge of the application and utilities of Windows server 2012 and Windows 2016
Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, scripting, automation
Understanding of MS Server Roles
Deep working knowledge of NFS and NAS storage systems
Working in a secure/locked down Windows Server Environment
Knowledge of Group Policy
Windows PowerShell
Terminal Services and RDP expertise a must
A strong background with backup systems, both hardware and software is required. Familiarity with SAN-based and IP-based backup solutions.
