This position is open to H1-B visa candidates.
$125K salary or so with an additional bonus.
Must be a local candidate. No relocation.
Must-Have:
The candidate must have prior experience working on very large PostGres and Oracle database environments – VLDB (Very Large Database).
The candidate must have experience with distributed PostGres and Oracle databases. (PostgreSQL XL or Citus or Oracle Rac).
The candidate will review the source code with the application development teams to tune PostGresSQL performance.
Write Shell scripts.
This is a database engineering (DB design and DB architecture) role, not simply an admin role. The candidate is required to build out DB servers.
Experience with migration to Microsoft Azure PostgreSQL is preferred.
