Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience OR Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
5+ years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or Center of Excellence (COE) experience
Preferred Additional Skills:

MBA or Master’s degree preferred
Experience with and strong knowledge of HR Practices, Policies, and Laws
Ability to influence, coach and consult with all levels of the organization in a positive and effective manner
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and self-initiative-has a track record on delivering commitments
Efficiency in MS Office software products like Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Job Description:

The Principal, HR Business Partner will support the Military Avionics & F-35 Divisions within the Mission Avionics Sector of the Space & Airborne Systems segment. This role will directly report to the Sr Director, Human Resources Mission Avionics Sector and partner closely with GM’s of both divisions.
Deliver Human Resources leadership and support to the organization to facilitate meeting business and strategic growth objectives
Establish and execute the client HR strategy, exercise thought leadership, exercise good judgment, and make difficult decisions
Collaborate with functional leaders to create workforce and staffing plans to ensure availability of human capital necessary to accomplish business results
Use metrics/analytics to drive performance. Champion employee engagement, retention and diversity and inclusion. Be an employee advocate.
Oversee Talent Management activity including Performance Management, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, Employee Development, and with a relentless focus on enhancing diversity representation.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with management and employees and provide advice and counsel to both on employee-related and organizational matters.
Drive business operating system (“e3,” continuous improvement operating model) principles and processes with a focus on increasing administrative excellence and process improvement across the business units and within the HR function.
