Data Analyst IV

Direct Client Requirement

Position: Data Analyst IV with (Splunk)

Location: Greenwood Village, CO

Type: Contract

? Minimum 5+ years of experience in creating reports from
Splunk logs, and creating dashboards based on these reports as needed

? Splunk administrative responsibilities are not a part of this
position

? Data being reported on is new and therefore will require
research and working with IT partners to identify accurate queries

? Excellent technical skills including strong problem-solving
abilities.

? Basic experience with querying SQL databases

? Expert understanding of application logging, and ability to
compare application output to Splunk logs

? Experience with utilizing DB Connect to create and send
logging to Splunk based off of

? Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
with many unexpected requests

? Solid understanding of the tasks involved in the day-to-day
operation, monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting.

? Strong sense of responsibility ? willing to take ownership of
issues

? Knowledge in System security best practices

? Able to define and produce reports based on loose business
criteria (that is, must be able to understand how the data is used by the
business).

? Will work directly with Database SQL analysts/developers to
ensure current database reporting is accurately replicated in Splunk
