Job Title   : AWS Solution Architect
Job Description:

–          Experience level 10 to 12 years
–          AWS as IaaS at enterprise level ( 500 + instances)
o   AMI Build Mechanisms and tools ( Building client specific images on
Windows, RHEL, SUSE
o   Managing the following at enterprise account level
§  Back-up
§  Data Retention policy implementation
§  Configuration Management using tools like Chef and detailed explanation on
the policies implemented across the estate, boot strapping process
§  Roll out of OS patching
§  Access Control through Federated roles, AD integration
§  Networking ? VPC setup & Peering, Direct Connect and subnets
§  DR in cloud
§  Cloud monitoring tools and Metrics (any custom metrics)
§  Compliance reporting ? Automation done for end user consumption (e.g OS
patching, SG approvals)
§  Extensive usage AWS cloud formation template : Creation and deployment
remotely: Specific scenarios to be detailed
o   Automation
§  Scripting language used for Automation eg Python. Ruby, Shell
§  Detailed explanation on the automation done (eg. Library used)
§  Deployment pipeline : Deployment of changes thru CI/CD
o   OS knowledge on Windows and Linux (Trouble shooting scenario to be
detailed)
o   Hands-on Role and Individual contributor
