Role: Business Analyst
Location: Jeffersonville, IN
Type of Hire: Contract
We need Business Analyst with exposure to SQL or C# or Dot Net in Insurance
industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders and IT to support the operations platform
for our client.
Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering
information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
Design new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow
charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
Provide appropriate IT direction to support the day-to-day and strategic
operations for the account.
Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and
elements.
Work on projects with a broad scope, involving multiple systems.
Ability to track and manage project risks and issues, including identifying
impact and resolution plan.
Responsible for delivering to stakeholder requirements and timelines. High
sense of ownership and responsibility to all stakeholders to ensure work
quality.
Develop, document and facilitate user acceptance test plans to ensure
fulfillment of requirements and successful project implementation.
Flexibility to perform project management responsibilities.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor?s Degree with technology and operational focus or a related field
preferred.
3-5 years of progressive analyst experience analyzing and solving business
problems through the development and implementation of business applications
preferred.
Experience working with clients.
Proven analytical, decision making, problem solving skills & ability to
recommend innovative solutions.
Experience in a changing and fast-paced organization while being comfortable
with ambiguity.
Strong project planning and management skills with ability to manage multiple
deliverables.
Experience with project & change management approaches, tools, and phases of
the project lifecycle.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to collaborate with diverse
stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams and external parties.
Strong communication skills, including meeting facilitation and relationship
management
Strong reporting experience.
Experience in Agile and Warranty Insurance domain is a plus.
Experience with use case methodology.
