Work directly with executive board to build team, create strategies, and develop profitable book of business.
Create, manage, and revise underwriting policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Develop budgets, rates, premiums, and pricing based on profitability and annual targets.
Hire, develop, mentor, and groom a team of production underwriters.
Oversee workflow, ensure timely underwriting and related activities.
