Temp to Perm Mechanical Engineer

Next-generation Radio Frequency (RF) sensor systems for multiple applications.

Primary responsibilities include:
Design, fabrication and assembly of electronics enclosures Development of design documentation
Working within a larger R&D team to evolve solutions from concept to reality
Patent development Operate rapid prototyping equipment and design for manufacturing
Provide status updates to team members and supervisors on project progress
Perform 3D CAD design for electronics enclosures
Assist and advise with mechanical design on early stage projects

Qualifications and Skills Required:
Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (5+ years professional experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of principles of mechanical engineering and design
Currency with rapid prototyping
Design for electrical enclosures experience
Fluency with 3D CAD/CAM/CAE software
Expert level hardware/software troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with rapid prototyping equipment and methods
Ability to work alone and with teams, handle multiple tasks
Desired:
Strong knowledge of electrical principles
Modeling and simulation material properties
Electrical and/or antenna design experience
Good electronics lab skills; soldering, rework, building jigs and adapters
