SAP Functional Consultant (Common for all modules)
The Functional Consultant / Business Analyst ?SAP will be responsible for
the design, implementation and maintenance SAP ERP System.
The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for working with business
process owners and SME?s to understand business processes.
The Consultant?s focus will be on ensuring that solutions designed in our
SAP ERP environment are completed with a sustainable, high quality, and best
practice design in mind.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the SAP modules as a functional
expert and hands-on configurator, but will have also had a broad understanding
of SAP across multiple SAP modules. He/she should have implementation
experience with a global manufacturing company, and understand both systems
configuration, and overall systems architecture in an SAP environment. He/she
should be familiar with SAP?s ecosystem of solutions and solutions providers,
and be able to guide business decisions on functionality, software selection,
and vendor selection. The IT Business Analyst will also be responsible for
technical delivery and have project management responsibilities as part of
his/her job role. This position requires excellent verbal and written
communication skills to interface and manage relationships with business
partners, IT, senior management and vendor organizations. Responsibilities:
Translate user?s requests into application system solutions. Analyzes
system user requirements to define and design system configuration,
enhancements, and modifications. Resolves business issues by working with
various groups within and outside of the company (ie. system users, company
management, consultants, and software support staff) Work in multidisciplinary
teams to define and design complex processes and procedures for the
configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP and related application systems.
Designs test plans, executes test scenarios, validates test data, and documents
test results. Coordinates end-user training documentation and trains end users
as required.
Develops technical standards, best practice guidelines, solution diagrams,
and documentation standards for all ERP and related solutions. Ensures that
standards are adhered to, and that documentation and change control processes
are followed across the Applications Organization.
SAP Certification in one or more modules
Overall 8-10 years of SAP experience with at least 1-2 SAP Implementation
experience with hands-on configuration experience in the respective Module.
Responsibility for designing custom solutions within the ECC landscape as
well as solutions involving integrations with external systems.
1-2 years Full Life Cycle large project implementation. Technical Expertise
SAP Configuration and/or Development experience across multiple modules of
SAP.
Knowledge of SAP architecture and best practice design.
Knowledge of SAP Landscape architecture design, project implementation
methodologies and implementation expertise.
SAP Hana S4 platform experience (preferred)
Manufacturing company experience.
Domestic and international implementation experience.
Strong knowledge of SAP Ecosystem solutions and partners and the ability to
lead selection processes. —
