Set and drive strategic direction and provide executive leadership for claims department while ensuring department performance meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Develop annual Claim Plan, budget, staffing analysis, and salary recommendations.
Direct claims managers and staff, including following up on personnel development plans initiated by Managers.
Serve as liaison to Human Resources Department to monitor all disciplinary matters and participate in candidate interviews for Claims department management positions.
Plan Claims meetings and training.
Monitor service objectives and production results, and measure against goals to identify opportunity areas and resolve issues.
Lead process improvement projects and process mapping exercises to identify opportunities for optimization of efficiencies.
Act as Corporate Representative for industry related matters and claims in litigation.
