Position Overview: The Senior Electronic Document Technician will be responsible for the management and oversight of the Electronic Document Room (EDR) operation.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
SCOPE:
The scope of this contract entails operation, management, and support of FDA onsite document, records and information management related activities. Support encompasses records lifecycle activities, quality control, DCC management, storage services, onsite DCC scanning, training, metadata management, and records management.
Records include regulatory, administrative, and program materials that support the agency’s business functions. Business functions of the FDA pertain to human and animal pharmaceutical and biological drugs, scientific research, food safety, medical devices, and public health issues.
Specific Responsibilities:
• The Senior Electronic Document Technician will be responsible for the management and oversight of the Electronic Document Room (EDR) operation.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to pass a Federal Background Investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Management.
• Four (4) years of experience in the Computer Science or Information Management Field.
• Excellent Leadership, Supervisory, Training, Communication, and Records Management Skills.
• Detail‐oriented and have the skills to maintain databases, electronic files, documentation, and computer tapes.
