Job Summary
As our restaurant’s chef, you’ll be instrumental in keeping business flowing smoothly and efficiently. Our entire staff, from the front of the house to the back of the house, will rely on you to prepare food efficiently and with presentation. You must be able to lead the team and also be a team player. You should be able to effectively communicate with the other kitchen staff and show exemplary customer service.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner with beautiful presentation.
Keep the kitchen clean and safe.
Aid fellow kitchen staff in preparing and serving food.
Adhere to the most current rules regarding food safety and hygiene.
Come to work with a smile, a positive attitude and a willingness to give us your all.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required
Work as valued team player
Arrive at work on time (shifts may include weekends and holidays)
Preferred
Culinary experience, or willingness to learn
Able to lift, push, pull items that weigh as much as 25 pounds
Willing to cross-train on different positions
