Job Title: DevTest Consultant (LISA and UNIX experience is must)

Job Description:
Collaborate with App Dev/QA/Env teams to understand and implement CA
LISA(DevTest) Svc virtualization platform across mission/ business critical apps
Implement best practices for design, create, configure, deploy and test with
CA DevTest 10.0
Develop custom handler extensions like LDAP, SMPP, SSH by extending the out
of box protocols to accommodate the existing format of API calls and handle
data parsing. For example, parsing APNS, GCM push notifications
Support Infrastructure management and administration
Create Enterprise level Amazon Machine Image (AMI) to application teams to
inherit
Using various DevOps open source tools like Ansible, Dockers, automate
processes to manage complex environments at scale and implement monitoring and
alerting tools like Zabbix.
Provide support to application teams for additional enhancements and
additions to the baseline Virtual services
Support and monitor DevTest servers during application teams load testing on
a daily basis and continuous support to fix any application as well as network
port vulnerabilities that are found by regular security scans
Be instrumental in mentoring, training and providing technical expertise on
an ongoing basis to the application team members in the application performance
monitoring and application optimization area
Qualification:
5 years of information technology experience with large and complex
applications
3 years of design, install, configuration and deploying services in large
enterprises
Working knowledge of the following is a must: CA DevTest 10.x Service
Virtualization, Unix, MS SQL, MySQL, Wireshark, NetBeans, Zabbix, Ansible, HTTP
Analyzer, Fiddler
Strong knowledge of SOAP web services, and protocols like TCP, MQ, HTTP/s,
LDAP, SMPP, JDBC
Experience in Java Programming is preferred
Desired knowledge of Cloud Computing using Amazon Web Services, VPC, EC2, S3
Working knowledge of project management concept
Excellent interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written
communication skills
Strong decision-making and leadership abilities
Strong organizational and problem solving abilities. —
