Leading manufacturer of machinery automation seeks an experienced Vision Engineer to develop, program, install, start up, and troubleshoot vision equipment software and hardware.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lab & field vision feasibility studies.
Create optical designs, system mechanical layouts, sequence of operations, and similar.
Assist with service calls, design reviews, and software validation requirements.
Support Mechanical Builders with software debugging.
Review internal hardwired & logic standards and general specification and scope of work.
Adhere to ISO9000 certification requirements.
Desired Experience:
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
3+ years of experience with vision or similar engineering experience.
Knowledge of internal hardware & logic standards, design logic, optical design, camera logic, & PLC logic.
Hands on knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, Rockwell RSLogix, or similar Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).
Experience with spreadsheet programming, Cognex Cameras, and similar.
