Manage skid based projects in automation, commissioning, and process development for the chemical, water treatment, bioreaction, and refining industries including: Modular Process Systems; Production & Pilot Skids; Fuel Gas Conditioners; Line Heaters; Chemical Processing; Water Treatment; High Pressure Systems; Injection, Dosing, Feeding, Filtering, and Extraction Skids; etc.
Serve as engineering representative for project meetings involving project planning, scope development, design, construction, startup, qualification, validation, and administration.
Author Functional Requirement Specifications with input documentation such as User Requirement Specifications, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Vendor Specifications, and Sequence of Operations.
Organize design reviews of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Functional Requirement Specifications, and System Design Descriptions to ensure desired functionality is achieved.
Perform receipt and installation verification for control system hardware and equipment supporting utilities and process operations.
Draft control system commissioning and qualification protocols to test control system hardware and software.
Develop engineering tools to identify issues between instrumentation input and output, distributed control systems, and programmable logic controller software prior to startup and shakedown.
Troubleshoot software issues and make appropriate design documentation redlines.
Draft startup and shakedown documentation to assist process engineers with identification of mechanical, automation, and process issues prior to commissioning.
Evaluate and analyze commissioning and qualification data to determine effectiveness and acceptability with regards to functionality and cGMP compliance.
Identify discrepancies, conduct investigations to determine root cause, implement change, and draft testing to demonstrate corrective action implementation reflects intended functionality.
